"MRCP(I) Part I Mock Test; a real imitation!:
Introduction:
MRCP(I) part I examination has 2 papers to be finished within a 3-hour period; no break in between. Getting used to the examination format and papers is an essential part when attempting to pass this step. The candidate should be familiar with the outline of the papers, and how to use and mark the answer sheets, so as not to waste time.
Paper I has a multiple choice question style (50 in no.), and paper II is covered by a best of many question format (50 in no.) with few photographic materials (ECG, CXR, genetic tree…etc). The latter is not present in the UK counterpart.
Please print paper 1 and 2, and print the answer sheet samples at the end of the book. Imagine a real exam, put a watch in front of you, read the questions, mark the answer sheet; at the end make a rapid review, and finally turn in you papers to someone!
Review the keys to the answers and calculate the final result for both papers. Part I pass mark is usually between 70-74% as far as I know.
I hope by creating this work I might be of some benefit to you.
All the best
