One Year of Hard Work, 3rd Edition 2009 has been re-edited and updated to include about 1000 questions (when subquestions are included).
You will find multiple choice questions, best of fives, best of many, and single line questions in neurology. Chapter 3 has photographic materials (CT scans, MRIs, MRVs, Plain X-ray films, patient's photos, echocardiography, ECG, and EEG). The answers have comprehensive up-to-date explanation. The questions covers most of the MRCPUK/MRCPI examination syllabus (and its most commonly encountered themes), both for part I and II.
It is the only free neurology self-assessment book on the web, not just for MRCPUK/MRCPI examinations, but also for any neurological/medical written exam (e.g., Neurology or Internal Medicine Boards, FRCPC, FRACP, USMLE, PLAB, TRAS...etc).
An important update is progressing to cover the syllabus of the MRCP(Neurology) Specialty Certificate exam; the Royal Colleges of Physicians will be conducting this exam in May 2009 for the first time.
